EDA has called for $20.72m in funding from the Australian Government to be able to enact the change we want to see. The ‘One Voice. One Ask’ campaign included a launch event at Parliament House in Canberra, visits with many Federal MPs, Senators, and other government officials, and consistent (and persistent!) phone calls, emails, and door knocking to make our voice heard.
Funding would support Prevention, Identification, Initial Response, Treatment, Psychosocial & Recovery Support and a qualified and accessible Workforce, in accordance with the National Eating Disorders Strategy 2023-2033.
