About the Alliance

A United Voice for the Eating Disorder Sector

The Eating Disorders Alliance builds on collaboration within the eating disorder sector, to bring together Australia and New Zealand’s leading eating disorder organisations. Our alliance demonstrates how we can work together toward common goals that benefit everyone affected by eating disorders in Australia and New Zealand.

Our Purpose

To collaborate across the sector, working for the best interests of people living with an eating disorder or body image issue and those who care for them, and to provide a collective voice to advocate on eating disorder issues across Australia and New Zealand, drawing on and amplifying the voice of lived experience.

What We Do

The Eating Disorders Alliance brings together Australia and New Zealand’s leading eating disorder organisations to advocate for sustainable funding, meaningful policy change, and coordinated sector improvements for those living with, or at risk of, an eating disorder.
